Welcome to the "Transformative Leadership” class (COS124) in the core Course of Study curriculum! Whether you're taking this as an in-person, hybrid, or fully online course, I'm honored to be able to teach it at Emory's Course of Study School. In addition to being a "required" course, this class is designed to be a great opportunity to discover and learn some of the key principles, practices and resources necessary to effectively lead 21-century Christian communities of faith.
On this site, you'll find information and resources that will help you in your work in and for our class together, and I'll also be using this site to update you on any assignments due and answer questions that might come up in that we don't have time to answer in class.If you haven't already, be sure to download, print (or download it to your tablet), and bring a copy of the PDF resource packet to class with you from the link in the "Class Resources" section (find a quick link above, or a link to the individual files at right). You'll also find here the PowerPoint slides I use in each session lecture. Plus, in the links to the right you’ll also find links where you'll find further resources and information that you might find helpful. Feel free to download and use any of these in your church and/or ministry setting.
